PGA Championship 2013: Ian Poulter hates fans yelling after tee shots

Golfer Ian Poulter isn’t shy about letting his feelings be known when he’s upset about something. After shooting an even-par 70 during his final round of the PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club on Sunday, Poulter took to Twitter to blast the idiotic fans who yell after every tee shot:

This baba boo shit & mash potato crap shouting wouldn’t happen at Augusta, The Open, nor would it happen at Wimbledon. Tazer the thrushes.

Thank you, Ian.

A message for people who like to yell after tee shots: nobody likes you, probably not even your children, pets, and/or lovers. What you do is not funny, witty, charming, or cool. Nobody has ever watched golf on television and thought to himself, “This viewing experience is totally enhanced by the screams of ‘get in the hole’ after every tee shot!” Nobody. Congratulations on earning enough money at your soul-sucking corporate jobs to afford tickets to a major. Now would you kindly STFU and act like damn adults?
