Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt has missed two days of practice now. Britt has had swelling and soreness in his right knee. Despite that, Titans head coach Mike Munchak didn’t sound concerned and said Britt is expected to play against the Cincinnati Bengals in Saturday’s preseason game.

“We just have to be smart, because it is all about getting him to September,” Munchak said, via the Nashville Tennessean.

Britt had surgery on his ACL in his left knee in 2011 and missed the entire season. This injury is in his right knee, but he has had anthroscopic surgery on the right knee as well. Like his head coach, Britt isn’t concerned.

“No concerns at all,” Britt said. “I wish I could be out there practicing with the fellas, but I am just taking a few days off and making sure I don’t have any setbacks.”

Britt is coming off a season that was below average for him as he recovered from that ACL injury. He caught 45 passes for 589 yards and 4 touchdowns. As he gets healthier he could look to rebound and put up the numbers we saw in his first two seasons in the leage.
