Tired of Alex Rodriguez news? Good – because I have more for you.

According to TMZ, the New York Yankees third baseman plans to sue Major League Baseball if they uphold his currently pending suspension.

And no, I’m not kidding.

Alex Rodriguez not only feels the MLB is singling him out … he feels “persecuted” in the PED scandal — and plans to SUE if the league doesn’t COMPLETELY recant … TMZ has learned.

Sources directly connected to A-Rod tell us he’s prepared to march into Federal court next month … unless the 211-game suspension the MLB slapped him with last week isn’t entirely lifted.

According to our sources, Alex will sue for various things, including a violation of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the players’ union and the league.

So why the desire to sue?

Rodriguez has apparently (at least according to him) been tested for performance enhancing drugs eleven times since between 2011 and now, all of which turned up negative. Feeling ‘persecuted’, Rodriguez has grown tired of MLB’s testing policy and the ‘witch hunt’ they’ve been on, suggesting that what they have done is borderline illegal.

I am pleased because I believe he is right. I am sick of the testing. Let the whole steroid thing go.
