After New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady went down during Wednesday’s practice with an apparent knee injury, there was plenty of concern among the fan base and organization about how serious the injury was. Luckily for everyone, the injury does not appear to be serious.

Players are understandably concerned with Brady’s status, but the organization and early reports indicate that he will be just fine.

From Bleacher Report AFC East writer Erik Frenz:

Brady injured his leg when Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive end Adrian Clayborn pushed Patriots offensive tackle Nate Solder back in to the pocket when it collapsed and Brady got his legged rolled up on. He immediately crashed to the ground and reached for his leg in obvious pain. The Buccaneers and Patriots were participating in a joint practice.

While the injury scare immediately got the Internet buzzing and Patriots fans searching for updates, it looks like we can all calm down and expect Brady back on the field for the start of the regular season.

Of course, we can not be too sure until an official injury update is given by the team.
