Dick Butkus is a Hall of Fame linebacker visited the Dallas Cowboys training camp in Oxnard, California. As part of the visit he sat down with the Dallas Cowboys own potential future Hall of Fame linebacker, who is moving to defensive end. He also sat down with the man who plays his position, middle linebacker, Sean Lee and had praise for the young player.

“I’ve been watching him,” Butkus said. “(He’s) an old-school guy.”

Butkus later said of Lee, “He’s for real.”

Coach Jason Garrett said Lee was excited to meet Butkus and that it was important for the two middle linebackers to talk.

“He’s fantastic, a legend,” Lee said of Butkus, via ESPN Dallas. “He’s probably one of the best football players of all time. To see him and meet him, I was pretty moved.

“He was great. He was talking about playing hard and playing a certain way and staying clean and understanding that we are role models and we have a certain way we need to act and a certain way we need to play. It was a great speech.”
