Eminem drops new track "Survival" in Call of Duty ad (Video)

The Hip Hop community has been so absorbed with the Kendrick Lamar verse and the response from the rap community, that Eminem discreetly released a new single called “Survival” in an ad for Call of Duty: Ghosts.

The ad was debuted at the world premiere of Ghosts at a live multi-player event, which was broadcast world wide. Eminem appeared in a video and said that a video for the song is in the works and will be released soon.

The track is loud and aggressive and Eminem has his usual angry fast tone through out the track. Skylar Grey sings on the track as well. Eminem has a new album that will come out some time this before the end of this year, Call of Duty: Ghosts is scheduled to be released on November 5th.

“We fully expect to be releasing a new Eminem album in 2013,” Shady Records President Paul Rosenberg told Billboard. “He’s been working on it for some time. It’s safe to say that it will be post-Memorial Day at some point, but we’re not exactly sure when. We’ve got some dates locked in for him to perform live in Europe in August, so we’re trying to see what else lines up.”

Eminem released his last album Recovery in 2010. Recovery sold 7.2 million albums world wide powered by hits like “Not Afraid” and “Love the Way You Lie” featuring Rihanna.

If you want to hear it without all the gun shots, bombs bursting and other noise here you go:

“Wasn’t ready to be a millionaire / I was ill-prepared / I was prepared to be ill be though / the skill was there.”
