The Indianapolis Colts signed free agent running back Ahmad Bradshaw this offseason in hopes of upgrading their porous run-game, which forced rookie quarterback Andrew Luck to carry the colts offense last year.
Now,the former New York Giant looks set to take over the starting RB job after the Colts struggled to ever establish a running game in 2012 behind Vick Ballard and Donald Brown, neither of who has shown they can perform to the degree Bradshaw has for the Giants, including being a pivotol eapon on both of their recent super Bowl championship teams. Bradshaw had been sidelined due to offseason foot surgery, but is now able to begin practicing with the team as he was activated from the physically unable to perform list.
He hasn’t gotten off to great start though in enduring his new team and fanbase to him. During his conference call this morning with the media, Bradshaw called his new team by their wrong name:
My favorite part of the Ahmad Bradshaw conference call this morning was when he called them the “Indiana” Colts.
