Well, the quarterback who I thought the Chicago Bears would pass on has signed with the team.

The Bears have agree’d to terms with Carson Palmer’s brother Jordan. Jordan who played with the Jacksonville Jaguars last season, signed with the Jaguars but was released after pre-season. He was re-signed by the Jaguars after Blaine Gabbert was placed on the injured reserve, only to be later released by the team.

He hasn’t had much luck in the league, as I pointed out in my Matt Blanchard article, he only has a career regular season 59 yards passing. He spent some roster time with the Cincinnati Bengals twice, Arizona Rattlers (Arena Football), Oakland Raiders, Sacramento Mountain Lions (United Football League) and then the Jacksonville Jaguars last season.

I thought the Bears would take a shot with JaMarcus Russell or Trent Edwards, but I guess they wanted to go with someone who must have been a lot cheaper for the franchise.

He’s thrown two interceptions in his four year NFL career with a career quarterback rating of 34.4.
