The New York Jets lost running back Shonn Greene in free agency earlier in the offseason, but they made up for his departure by adding Chris Ivory to the roster. Ivory has the talent to be one of the Jets best offensive players during the 2013-14 NFL season, however, an early hamstring injury caused him to miss a majority of the team’s training camp but he has finally returned to practice and will soon make his debut for the team.

Ivory was cleared after impressing the team in his first full practice and he will now be suiting up for the team when they face off against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday.

If he can put together a solid performance in his Jets debut, it will boost the confidence of Jets fans and provide a bright spot on an otherwise very weak unit.

For fantasy football players, Ivory could be a very intriguing option in the middle rounds of you draft to add a solid back up running back that will see plenty of carries in 2013.
