According to Marc Spears on Twitter, the Los Angeles Clippers are waiting for an answer from veteran forward Lamar Odom on a contract agreement.

The Clippers are reportedly ready to offer Odom a $1.4 million contract but just need him to agree to the terms. New head coach Doc Rivers is believed to be interested in bringing back the former Los Angeles Laker because he’s a great teammate.

If Odom decides to decline, which seems unlikely, then another former Laker appears to be their back up choice. Antawn Jamison has had some contact with the Clippers head coach and could have his cellphone near by in case Odom doesn’t re-sign.

Now if Odom doesn’t re-sign, where does he end up? He could end up with the Los Angeles Lakers again but, I doubt that move would happen. I mean as a Lakers fan, it would be great to see Odom back in uniform but, nobody is really excited about the Kardashian’s who would sit court side.

This could be an opening for Odom to head back to Miami.
