Some ‘friend’, eh?

According to ESPN, a friend of Milwaukee Brewers suspended slugger Ryan Braun says the  former National League MVP has been using performance enhancing drugs since college and now plans to sue multiple time All-Star, suggesting he was defamed by Braun.

Per ESPN:

A longtime friend of Ryan Braun’s filed a lawsuit against the suspended slugger last month, charging that Braun defamed him after the friend provided help in his successful appeal of Braun’s positive steroid test in 2011.

Ralph Sasson, 29, makes a number of personal accusations against Braun, saying in the lawsuit that Braun doped through his years at the University of Miami, committed academic fraud and accepted money while a student.

In addition, Braun’s ‘friend’ says that he was asked to prank call ESPN’s Outside the Lines to suggest that the plan against Braun was nothing more than a conspiracy.

Next time, Ryan, just have your trainer make a crappy fake website like Melky Cabrera and put up crappy numbers the following season. It really lessens the public perception.
