The Tennessee Titans were given quite a scare on Saturday night when two of their youngest and most promising players went down with what appeared to be serious injures. Wide receiver Kendall Wright suffered a sprained right knee after it initially looked like he’d suffered a torn ACL.

Wright was having a big night vs. the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday night, notching four catches for 44 yards before he injured his knee while running a route in the first half. He was seen walking around after the game with a wrap on the knee, and there was speculation that the injury could be of the season-ending variety.

Wright was drafted by the Titans in the first round of the 2012 draft, and is now expected to miss the rest of the preseason, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The former Baylor Bear finished last season with 64 receptions for 626 yards and four touchdowns.
