The Indianapolis Colts upgraded their running game when they added New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw. The running back and the Colts went to New York for their second preseason game and the Giants welcomed Bradshaw back with a video tribute.

“Oh man, that was awesome,” Bradshaw said after the Sunday game. “My heart just dropped when that happened. It was just heartbreaking, man. Six years being here and to come and see that, it’s heartbreaking.”

Bradshaw never really wanted to leave New York and is still adjusting to wearing a different uniform.

“Very weird,” Bradshaw said, via NFL.com. “Like I said, six years, my whole NFL career has been here. To come from the opposite locker room, it’s something I never thought would come.”

Bradshaw played six seasons for the Giants including winning two Super Bowls. His deal with the Colts is only for one season leaving his future after the 2013 season wide open. Giants general manager Jerry Reese said he’d consider bringing him back if he stays injury free in 2013.
