ESPN has added Jerome Bettis, aka the Bus, as an NFL analyst. ESPN has also added former quarterback Mark Brunell to the ESPN family. Let’s face facts here, they can’t be any worse than Emmitt Smith was and has broadcasting experience.

NFL on ESPN’s account linked to both their twitter accounts. Neither are avid twitter users.

Brunell last tweeted on January 28th and Bettis’ last tweeted on May 22nd and was wishing Brian Urlacher well in his retirement. Ironic considering that the background on his twitter his him running over Urlacher in a snowy game.

There hasn’t been many other details about the hiring, what all his duties will entail.

Jerome Bettis had a show on WPXI that was set to air September 10th according to the twitter account’s bio. There is a tweet that says the show premiere’s September 7th instead.
