Nick Foles wants to stay with Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback competition between Michael Vick and Nick Foles was a hot topic throughout training camp and the early weeks of the preseason, but head coach Chip Kelly announced Vick would be the team’s starter moving forward.
While that could open a potential trade scenario where Foles would be shipped off to a team where he could start, the Eagles backup wants to remain in Philadelphia and continue his career where he started.
From Delaware Online:
"“My mindset is I want to be here,” Foles said. “I want to be a Philadelphia Eagle and be a part of this team. I want to be here. I want to be on the team. I’ve been with these guys. I feel we have a really good thing going, and I love this team, the coaches, everything about it.”"
The Eagles have also said that they would not be trading Foles, so it looks like he will get his wish.
Like everyone knows, Michael Vick’s reckless style can often times land him on the injury report and missing action, so Foles could still get his opportunity with the Eagles in 2013.
