Richie Incognito accused of knocking out hotel security guard

According to Adam Schefter on ESPN.com, Miami Dolphins offensive guard Richie Incognito is being accused of knocking out a hotel security guard.

Schefter posted that after a late night at a night club in the Fountainbleu hotel in Miami, Incognito punched and knocked out a hotel security guard. He also went on and posted that one person who knows Incognito says that the Dolphins guard was punched first in the physical altercation.

There is supposedly a videotape of the incident but the hotel is not willing to hand it over and the NFL has not yet seen it. Schefter still believes that Incognito could still be punished under the league’s personal conduct policy but for now it appears unlikely.

The offensive guard has been known to be a loose cannon on the field so it isn’t surprising that something like this has happened. He recently got into an altercation with Houston Texans defensive end Antonio Smith, which resulted in Smith swinging his helmet as a weapon at Incognito.
