Neymar scores first goal for Barcelona (Video)

Barcelona made a huge splash this summer when they landed Brazilian star Neymar. Now with his new team, Neymar has scored his first competitive goal for his new club against Atletico Madrid in the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup.

It was a header from the corner of the six-yard box after a beautiful lob pass/cross from Dani Alves on the opposite side of the pitch. It wasn’t the most spectacular goal we’ve ever seen Neymar score. With Lionel Messi on the pitch and Barecelona’s talented midfielders, there could be more spectacular goals to come. This has just opened the “Pandora’s Box” of highlights we can expect from Neymar this year.

Neymar was known for his dazzling highlights on “YouTube” early in his career. He lived up to the hype leading his country, Brazil, to a Confederations Cup Championship win over the world’s best team, Spain.

On a side, and more important note possibly, I’m not a fan of Barcelona’s red and yellow kits.
