Golfer wins $1 million with hole-in-1 (Video)

A hole in one is arguably the hardest thing to do in golf. Jeff Barton hit one on the 9th hole of Corley’s Albuquerque Lincoln Volvo Golf Tournament on Thursday, the stipulation being, his was for a million dollar prize.

And he did it.

Mackenzie Bishop provided an up close shot of the proof.

From Bleacher Report:

According to the report, East Mountain High School in Sandia Park held their annual tournament at Paa-Ko Ridge Golf Club, which costs $125 to enter. It seems like a good chunk of change to enter a tourney, but you also get the chance to win either a MKZHybrid or $1 million.

Anyways, congrats to Mr. Barton! I’m sure he has lot of leisure time and golf in his future.
