Nebraska coach Bo Pelini pulls prank on football team (Video)

We’ve seen the Michigan State Spartans fall victim to the classic mannequin prank earlier this month. Now, Nebraska Cornhuskers head coach Bo Pelini pulled a prank on the entire football team.

The video is titled “movie night phone prank.”

Pelini was addressing the team during a meeting, which has a strict no cell phone policy. That is when Thad Randle, a fifth year senior who is in on the prank, has his phone go off in a team meeting.

Pelini puts down his papers, walks out of the room slamming the door behind him and the team is confused. He returns with a hammer in his hand and wants the phone that rang turned over. He gets the phone and smashes it with the hammer in front of the whole team and they look shocked.

Watch the rest to see how it turns out!

The video was posted to Nebraska Huskers’ YouTube channel with the following description:

Football is a game of deception.

Coach Pelini surprised the #Huskers with a night at the movies instead of a second practice. How he told them, and their reaction, was priceless.

Be sure to watch at least until 2:28 for the payoff.
