Seth Curry to join brother, Golden State Warriors for training camp

Former Duke standout Seth Curry went undrafted in the 2013 NBA Draft, but he is going to get a shot at making it as a pro. Reports surfaced yesterday that Curry would be joining his brother, Stephen, and the Golden State Warriors for a training camp tryout.

By all accounts, the deal will be non-guaranteed and it should become official at some point on Friday.

The news first came from Warriors World and Marcus Thompson of the Bay Area News Group followed that up with a confirmation of his own.

The older Curry is one of the best shooters in the NBA and a large part of the Warriors’ success that led them on a late run in the playoffs just a season ago. If Golden State could get some production out of the younger Curry, he could be an interesting shooting option off the bench.

Stephen and Seth come from some great lineage, so it is no surprise that Seth is getting a shot at the next level. It will just be up to him to put it all together and make the most of his opportunity.
