According to the Ottawa Citizen, Ottawa Senators Defence-man Cody Ceci will be one of the 26 players representing the Senators in a four-team rookie tournament between September 5th-8th in London, Ontario.

Ceci was the 15th overall selection by the Senators in the 2012 NFL Entry Draft but spent last season with the Owen Sound Attack of the OHL.  He later joined the Binghamton Senators for the final week of their regular and the subsequent playoffs.

In his professional debut, Ceci had two assists in three regular season games. He was later held scoreless in a playoff match up against the Walkes Barre/Scranton Penguins.

He is unlikely to suit up for the big club this season, how he performs in this tournament could do him so good for the future. Unless guys like Erik Karlsson, Patrick Wiercioch and Joe Corvo happen to get injured at any point in the season, he could very well see some time with the Senators.
