The Miami Dolphins just refuse to appease fantasy football players across the Nation. It’s almost as if they think their season is more important than ours.
Miller rushed for 35 yards on 8 carries and also caught a somewhat difficult catch, though, only gained two yards in the process thanks to the throw being offline. In addition to the box score, Miller looked solid in blitz formations, picking up streaking defenders, giving quarterback Ryan Ryan Tannehill extra time to look down field.
The Dolphins (namely GM Jeff Ireland) have said they are looking into using the dreaded running back by committee approach this season, with Thomas getting the third down carries but it appears the coaching staff is slowly settling in with Miller. Thomas was also expected to receive goal line carries once the regular season opened up but Miller has been given multiple goal line carries the past two weeks.
It looks to be only a matter of time until Miller is given the true starting nod with the coaching staff apparently expediting the process.
