When we last updated you about Vanderbilt Commodores head coach James Franklin, he was jumping off cliffs and then claiming it was no big deal.  Oh, and let’s not forget his promise to call your boss if you want to skip work in order to catch a Vanderbilt game. Franklin is clearly one of the more likable coaching personalities in college football, a status that is only reinforced by his latest goofy endeavor: the release of his team’s “Everybody Dance Cam” footage.

There’s a lot to love here — who doesn’t like dancing? — but Franklin’s rendition of the Carlton certainly takes the cake. Why? Because it is the damn Carlton, that’s why. Never change, coach Franklin.

How do the moves here compare to those demonstrated in the Arizona Wildcats video from earlier? It’s a tough call when it comes to the two respective coaches. Yeah, Franklin’s Carlton is pretty sweet, but the image of Rich Rodriguez doing the robot is just endlessly amusing. Hopefully both teams perform as well on the football field this season as they do on the dance floor.
