Tiger Woods hurts back at The Barclays (video)

There was a scary moment during the final round of the The Barclays at Liberty National Golf Course on Sunday, as Tiger Woods fell to his knees in pain after wrenching his back during his second shot on the par-5 13th hole. Woods took a bogey but not withdraw from the tournament. He visibly struggled to pick his ball up out of the cup after finishing the hole.

Woods has been battling a sore back throughout the tournament. He told reporters on Friday that the pain he was in had increased throughout the round. Said Woods: “I’m a little sore right now, yeah. I’m going to get treatment right now as soon as I get done here with you guys and be ready for tomorrow morning” (Golf Channel).

We hope Woods is okay and that he is able to finish his round without suffering any further (or more severe) damage. We will keep you posted on his condition when more information is available.
