NFL teams are currently working their way down to the 75-man rosters as we get closer to Tuesday afternoon’s roster cut deadline, but that is just the tip of the iceberg. After Tuesday’s deadline, teams will have just over three days to make their way down to the final 53-man rosters.

This means that throughout the next week plenty of people will be losing their jobs and watching their dream of becoming an NFL player come to an end.

The exact deadline for the 53-man roster comes on Saturday, August 31 at 6:00 p.m. ET.

Along with the roster cuts, teams will have to decide which players to place on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform or Reserve/Non- Football Injury or Illness lists.

It’s a rough time to be a player as you wonder whether or not your roster spot is secure, but it is part of the harsh business world.

Who will be among the players released throughout the week with the multiple roster cut deadlines? Stay tuned to FanSided.com as we keep you updated.
