The deadline for NFL teams to get down to a 75-man roster is set for Tuesday afternoon, so teams were busy over the weekend looking to get as close as they can to the limit before making the final few cuts over the next 24 hours.

For the Philadelphia Eagles, that meant parting ways with eleven players.

The players released on Sunday were cornerback Eddie Whitley, linebacker Jamar Chaney, punter Brad Wing, tight end Derek Carrier, defensive end Eddie McClam, wide receiver Nick Miller, tackle Nic Purcell, offensive lineman Isaac Remington, tight end Will Shaw, defensive tackle Daryell Walker and long snapper James Winchester.

The roster moves get Philadelphia down to 77 players, so they still have to part ways with two players.

One name that is expected to be cut soon is safety Kenny Phillips.

There have been some reports stating that Phillips has already been cut and a few simply stating that he should be released by the deadline, but the Eagles have yet to officially announce anything yet.
