The Denver Broncos have a banner with a picture of Baltimore Ravens quarterback, and first week opponent, Joe Flacco hanging on the outside of the stadium. It is part of the NFL’s annual promotion of the season’s kickoff.

Denver Broncos fans are not thrilled about it and the Broncos tried to calm them down on Twitter.

On the website, a Broncos fan using the handle “Broncos Nation” has called  for the NFL to remove the Flacco banner and posted a petition. The petition, in full:

Roger Goodell, @nflcommish, National Football League

Take the Joe Flacco signage off my Mile High Stadium! Broncos Nation will not endure this detestable and audacious act. Who in their right mind thought that we would just let this fly?! We stand united against your unbearable Joe Flacco signage.
