According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, the Green Bay Packers have made several roster moves today.
They officially placed Left Tackle Bryan Bulaga on IR after he tore his ACL on August 4, officially ending his season.
They have also placed running back DuJuan Harris on IR. Harris reinjured his knee against the Seattle Seahawks Friday night. He was hopeful the injury wasn’t serious, but the injury was severe enough to end Harris’ season.
“[It's] not ruptured,” Harris said. “Just trying to, like, prevent it from popping, so I’m good. Everything’s still intact and all that. It’s just a little problem right now that needs to be fixed.”
Harris ended the season as the Packers’ starter, rushing for 157 yards on 34 carries with two touchdowns. He also had 100 yards and two touchdowns in two playoff games.
The Packers hoped to use rookie Eddie Lacy and Harris as a two back system and will now likely have to pair Lacy with another rookie, UCLA product Jonathan Franklin.
Defensive end Jerel Worthy, a second round pick in 2012, was placed on the PUP list. Worthy played in 14 games for the Packers last season and had 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble.
Offensive Tackle Derek Sherrod was also placed on the PUP list with a leg injury.
