They say you practice like you play, which is great news for the Texas A&M Aggies and star quarterback Johnny Manziel. Despite plenty of off-field distractions and the pending NCAA investigation, it appears that Manziel has been able to keep his focus on football and put in the necessary work to continue bettering himself as a player.
According to reports, Manziel has been constantly improving throughout practices and he is looking sharp leading up to the team’s season opener this Saturday against Rice at Kyle Field.
From Billy Liucci on Twitter:
FWIW, several sources who don’t sugarcoat say Manziel looks better in practice than at any point in his career…scary thought for SEC

If Manziel is continuing to improve from where he was as a freshman, this is obviously great news for the Aggies and their fans as they gear up for a national title run.
There are still questions on whether or not Manziel will remain eligible for the entire season, but if he can play on and lead the team with his improved game they are going to make major waves in the college football world.
It doesn’t look like their is an end in sight with the NCAA investigation, so A&M should play Manziel and see where he can take them.
