Watch this adorable squirrel interrupt the U.S. Open (video)

Okay, the squirrel isn’t exactly adorable. I mean, it looks just like all other squirrels, so your opinion regarding its adorableness is entirely dependent on how you view squirrels in general. Personally, I think squirrels are hilarious. Something about their frantic dispositions and their confused, circuitous movements makes me laugh.

ANYWAY, back on topic. So this little critter decided to interrupt a match between Sabine Lisicki and Vera Dushevina at the U.S. Open. Not a whole lot is known about the squirrel at this time, but reports say he’s been apprehended by authorities on the suspicion that he’s the same squirrel that ran out onto the court and stabbed Monica Seles back in 1993.

 

Oh, and Lisicki went on to win the match 6-2, 7-6 (in case you care). But let’s be real; the squirrel was the star of the show.
