Nobody is ever going to accuse Jay Z of being unoriginal, but the Jigga man himself has been branching out of the norms when it comes to his latest album release, Magna Carta Holy Grail.

Doing something that had never been done before (at least for an artist so popular), Jay sold five million copies worth of his album to Samsung before the album was ever released. That forced Billboard to change the way they determine and catalog a records success as Maga Carta Holy Grail became the first ever album to go platinum (five times, really) before ever being officially released.

Now Jay is trying out something else new, this time releasing his music video featuring pop crooner Justin Timberlake, ‘Holy Grail’ for twenty-four hours on Facebook. That’s it. The video will vanish for good after that.

Of course, it really won’t considering the internet is well, the internet, but it’s a smart marketing ploy and publicity stunt to get people to watch the video before time runs out!!1!1!11!
