Tuscaloosa bar's mural depicts Nick Saban and Bear Bryant as Adam and God

A bar in Tuscaloosa has made a chalk mural depicting Nick Saban as Adam and Paul “Bear” Bryant as God in a spoof of Michelangelo’s famous painting of God’s creation of Adam. Nick Saban on the left is playing the role of Adam and Paul “Bear” Bryant is God reaching out from the heavens.

Instead of simply extending fingers to touch one another it looks like they’re handing off a play sheet the BCS crystal trophy (as one reader informed me, I couldn’t tell but can now see it clearly). Both of them are in their familiar attire, except Nick Saban doesn’t have that straw hat on he likes to wear.

The artwork is pretty incredible considering this was done on a chalk board.

And he’s been working on it for a while.
