Lamar Odom has driver’s license suspended for a year
By Bryan Rose
Seriously, what else could go wrong for Lamar Odom?
Granted, it’s all self inflicted, but the guy is swirling down a destructive path faster than previously thought possible.
In a mater of weeks – hell – in a mater of days, Odom has reportedly went from chasing an NBA gig to being a strung out drug addict who apparently is now an alcoholic as well.
As was reported earlier, Odom was arrested late last night by the California Highway Patrol because the officer’s suspected he was driving while under the influence.
When asked to submit a chemical test at the police station, he refused, resulting in the loss of his license.
Per the Los Angeles Times:
"Veteran NBA player Lamar Odom, arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Friday morning, will see his driver’s license suspended for a year because he refused to submit to chemical testing at a police station.California Highway Patrol Officer Leland Tang said Odom was unable to complete a field sobriety test, and once at the station he refused chemical tests to determine his level of alleged intoxication.Drivers suspected of DUI may refuse to take tests in the field, but once they are at a police station, they are required to take a chemical test. If they refuse, they lose their driving privileges for a year."
Those crack runs just got a little more difficult.
