Dallas Cowboys acquire LB from Kansas City Chiefs

According to the Kansas City Chiefs, the Dallas Cowboys have acquired linebacker Edgar Jones for an undisclosed draft pick.

Jones figures to bring some stability and veteran leadership to special teams where he has mostly played in his history as a Chief and Baltimore Raven.

Jones is entering his 7th year in the NFL.  The 28 year old from Southeast Missouri State is 6’3″ and 262 pounds.

Jones has amassed 32 tackles and 2 forced fumbles through his career.

Jones spent his first 5 seasons in Baltimore before being traded to Kansas City.
