Things never worked out for Joe McKnight, who shined as a running back at USC.

His struggles at running back got so bad for the New York Jets, hoping to capitalize on anything, they turned him into a defensive back.

That was a worse failure than his attempt at being a running back, so the Jets nixed that idea and moved him back to his ‘natural’ position.

A few minor meltdown’s later and McKnight was released, recently spotted trying out for the Green Bay Packers.

In his downtime (which he’s going to have a lot of in the coming weeks), McKnight apparently decided to watch some ESPN – which according to a handful of tweets – he didn’t enjoy. In fact, McKnight became so enraged at their crappy broadcasting, he unleashed a pretty epic Twitter rant, suggesting everybody watch the NFL Network over ESPN because ESPN is stupid.

"THEY NEED TAKE ESPN OF THE TV CUZ THEY HAVE NO IDEA OF WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT. HOW DUMB YOU SOUND FOOTBALL IS A GAME OF CAT AND MOUSEFootball is game of leverage and inches THAT’S FOOTBALL #NFLNETWORK THE BEST.ESPN JUST SHOULD HAVE ALL ATHLETES CUZ THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT.ESPN NEED TO THINK MARK CUZ IT’S CLEARLY THE BUTT FUMBLE IS KEEPING THEM RELEVANT"

That’s just a peppering of what McKnight was going off about.

Though in fairness, he’s right.
