Georgia Bulldogs and Clemson Tigers track meet

For anyone who is a fan of offense and speed, the main event of the evening on ABC is offering just that.

Following a Clemson touchdown on Tajh Boyd’s first quarter scramble, Georgia answered with a Todd Gurley touchdown run for seventy-five yards on the very next play from scrimmage.

Not to be outdone, Following the ensuing kick off Boyd then hit Sammy Watkins for a 77 yard touchdown pass.

For those keeping track, that is 3 touchdowns on three consecutive plays from scrimmage. Unfortunately the next play from scrimmage was only a 22 yard completion from Aaron Murray to Michael Bennett of the Bulldogs. I guess something went wrong.

As another update, Georgia’s junior wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell apparently has injured his knee and will not return to the game.  This is being reported by Zack Klein of ABC-TV in Atlanta

This is not good news for the Dawgs as they are going to need every weapon they can to put away this talented Clemson team.
