After a disappointing season, the Seattle Seahawks added former 2012 fourth round draft pick Jaye Howard to their list of players who won’t make their 53 man roster.

The prospect out of Florida looked as if he was ready to enter the league and make an immediate impact for an NFL defense. Howard stands at 6’3 and weighs in at 300 pounds, so being as big as he is should get the attention of teams who need a man who can help stop the run.

Line that big man up on a defense who needs help on the front line and let him disrupt offenses. Howard only appeared in two games for the Seattle Seahawks defense his rookie season but didn’t record a single stat.

This team has dealt with a lot of injuries late last season and early on this season, especially up front. But it looks like they are confident in who/what they have.

As one door closes, another will soon open for this promising young defensive tackle.
