The Atlanta Falcons announced their eight man practice squad on Sunday that includes a few intriguing wide receiver prospects and some developmental blockers and defensive linemen that will help the team prepare every week of the season.

The most notable name on the roster is wide receiver James Rogers, who is the brother of Falcons running back Jacquizz Rodgers.

Here are the players that were added to the Falcons practice squad:

FB Patrick DiMarco, QB Seth Doege, WR Darius Johnson, CB Jordan Mabin, OG Phillipkeith Manley, DT Adam Replogle, WR James Rodgers, TE Mickey Shuler

The two played together at Oregon State and it is always great to see family get to enjoy their NFL dreams together.

Rodgers is a player that could eventually develop in to a big time playmaker for the team, but he will have a rough time being promoted to the active roster because of the very talented and deep group of receivers that they currently have on the team.
