Lleyton Hewitt reaches fourth round of US Open

After shocking the tennis world in round one, Lleyton Hewitt is continuing to turn heads as he marches on to the fourth round of the US Open after a four-set win over Evgeny Donskoy. This is the 30th time Hewitt has reached the fourth round in a grand slam event and is looking for another win at the US Open to revive his career.

Hewitt the former world number one and 2001 champion has been on an incredible journey so through the US Open and will undoubtedly advance from 66th in the world standings for his efforts at the US Open.

Hewitt has reached the final 16 for the first time since his quarter-final birth in 2006 and is on a crash course to meet Novak Djokovic if he advances further in his 58th major. Next up for Hewitt will either be 12th seed Tommy Haas or 21st seed Mikhail Youhzny.
