Lindsey Vonn returns to the slopes for first time since knee surgery (Video)

While Lindsey Vonn has been in the headlines for supporting her boy toy Tiger Woods on the PGA Tour, but now she is returning to doing what she does best and that is hitting the slopes as she prepares for a run at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

Vonn skied for the first time since blowing out her ACL on Sunday afternoon in Chile and she believes that she is finally ready to make a full comeback.

“I’ve crashed a lot in my career, and I’m just getting back up as fast as I can,” Vonn said, via Olympic Talk. “Unfortunately it’s taken me seven months to get back up this time, but I was really excited to get out there today. … It just feels like the right time, and my body feels ready.”

The 28-year-old said she felt great after her return to the slopes and it was a positive sign that there was no swelling in her knee.
