Boston Celtics' Jared Sullinger arrested for domestic dispute

It was not a good weekend for NBA players apparently.

While most of us were hanging out with friends and family, two NBA player’s spent portions of their weekend in the county jail – or will be in the case of Sullinger.

Oklahoma City Thunder guard DeAndre Liggins started things off on Saturday night when he was arrested for domestic abuse. Boston Celtics power forward Jared Sullinger continued the theme hours later where he was arrested for a domestic dispute, according to CSNNE.com:

The 6-foot-9 forward turned himself over to authorities Tuesday morning following the incident which reportedly happened Saturday night.

He is being charged with assault and battery, malicious destruction of property and witness intimidation.

Sullinger apparently wasn’t going to turn himself in, however, once a warrant was placed for his arrest the former Ohio State star decided to face the music.

The dispute apparently comes from a argument with his girlfriend, though, she is reportedly doing okay and did not receive a trip to a local hospital as first reported.
