I remember as a kid, I always told my family I would build one thing if I ever got rich – my own baseball diamond.

Of course, you don’t really need to be ‘rich’ to do that, rather, just have about $15,000 dollars and some time on your hands, like former University of Georgia fullback Des Williams who apparently misses his time at the school.

Williams, who played fullback for Georgia from 2003 to 2007 decided to turn his ordinary backyard into a shrine to his former stomping grounds, Sanford Stadium.

After graduating, Williams became a high end landscaper and always had the idea of building a replica of Sanford Stadium, though, never went through with it. That was until he realized just how passionate his three year old son was about the game.

I have to say – that’s pretty much every kid’s dream to have their own ‘stadium’, so good on Williams for making it happen.

Also, love the inclusion of the hedges. Nice touch.
