The UFC will be putting on their 20th anniversary event in November with UFC 167 in Las Vegas, when welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre defends his title against exciting challenger Johny Hendricks in a match up that fans have been looking towards.

It was previously announced that the event received a co-main event in the light heavyweight division that features former champion Rashad Evans and three-time title contender Chael Sonnen.

Now, the event got an exciting heavyweight bout added to the card.

On Thursday night it was announced that a heavyweight battle between Frank Mir and Alistair Overeem was added to the card.

Each fighter is entering the bout with a losing streak of at least two bouts, with Frank Mir having three straight losses on his record. The fighters may not be closing in on a title shot, but it is still a match up between two of the top heavyweights in the world.

For the 20th anniversary show, the UFC certainly is delivering.

This should be a fun fight to see with the winner looking to get back on the right track.
