FX has an created another network called FXX. In actuality Fox Soccer is being rebranded as FXX after having lost their rights to the English Premier League to NBC. Fox still has the rights to the Champion League but that could be carried on the newly created Fox Sports 1, its competitor for ESPN.
“They’re probably going to get more viewers with a second entertainment network,” Brad Adgate, director of research for Horizon Media told TheWrap. “Why not create a second?”
Some FX shows made the move to the new network including “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and “The League.” Both shows made their premier on the new network last night.
Most importantly that means you need to adjust your DVR settings.
In order to find the new network they’ve created a website, GetFXX.com, to help you find the new channel. All you do is enter your zip code and select your cable provider and it tells you exactly where to find your favorite shows.
“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” premiered last night and will air on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET. “The League” follows at 10:30 p.m. ET and after that is the late night show “Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell, ” which will air Monday through Thursday at 11 p.m. ET.
