Jennifer Lawrence gets naked for ‘X-Men’

Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence is set to reprise her role as Raven, otherwise known as Mystique, in the upcoming film X-Men: Days of Future Past. If you’ve followed the comics, or even seen the original X-Men film, you know that our favorite blue mutant doesn’t usually wear a lot of clothes, leaving Lawrence essentially naked.

In a recent interview with SciFiNow in the UK, Lawrence opens up about her lack of clothing in the newest X-Men adventure.

"I’m naked,” says Lawrence “But when I do get to wear clothes, I love the ’70s outfits.”"

Days of Future Past is set 10 years after the conclusion of X-Men: First Class.

Jennifer Lawrence spilled just a few more details about her character in the upcoming film to SciFiNow in her interview.

"Some of the Mystique look is a little different, but we’re still using the same paint. But she’s different in this film too,” she said about Mystique. “She was struggling – like a lot of normal humans – with the way she looked, and she was covered up a lot in the first movie, but this time she is Mutant and proud.”"

Earlier this year, director Bryan Singer took to his Twitter account to give us our first look at Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique.

Also starring in the film are Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, Anna Paquin, James McAvoy, American Horror Story’s Evan Peters, and Game of Thrones actor Peter Dinklage.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is scheduled to hit theaters in the U.S. on May 23, 2014.
