‘The Walking Dead’ season 4: AMC releases new key poster

The premiere of Season 4 of AMC’s The Walking Dead is right around the corner, which makes this the perfect time to give us a small look inside the new season. AMC has done just that as they release a new key poster for the upcoming season of The Walking Dead.

As you will recall, we left Rick, Daryl, and the rest of the gang taking the rest of the remaining residents of the fallen Woodbury to the prison in order to keep them safe, not only from the zombies, but from the wrath of raging sociopath, the Governor.

The Season Premiere is entitled ’30 Days Without an Accident’. This would lead one to believe that since adding to their ever growing prison family, their lives have been fairly calm; or at least as calm as one can be in the middle of the zombie apocalypse.

However, this also leads one to believe that this calm will be coming to an end real soon. There have been talks of a new zombie threat going around the internet. Could this mean that the zombies have somehow gotten smarter?

Take a look at the poster and see for yourself.

Here you see Rick, looking unusually disheveled, standing in the middle of a big, gaping hole in the prison fence. How in the name of the zombie apocalypse did THAT get there?

I guess we’ll all have to tune in to find out.

Season 4 of AMC’s The Walking Dead premieres on Sunday, October 13th at 9:00 p.m.
