LSU Tigers running back Jeremy Hill was suspended earlier in the offseason after a fight outside of a bar led to chargers that were eventually dropped and he was reinstated to the team before the start of the season.
Tigers head coach Les Miles decided to hold Hill out of the season-opener against TCU, but now he will be seeing some playing time in the Week Two match up.
From The Advocate:
Hill will not start but will play in a backup role behind senior Alfred Blue and possibly after fellow running backs Kenny Hilliard and Terrence Magee, the source said.
Hill dressed out and participated in pregame warmups for LSU’s season opener against TCU last week in Arlington, Texas, but did not play because of his offseason legal issues. Blue got the start against the Horned Frogs and is expected to start again Saturday.
Miles was criticized for the way he handled Hill’s situation, but all will be forgotten if Hill comes on the field and lights it up in his limited playing time this weekend.
After all, you play to win the game.
