Nascar driver Tony Stewart has sweet custom race scooter (video)

After suffering a broken leg just over a month ago, Nascar driver Tony Stewart will be unable to walk until around January or February of 2014. That obviously means he can’t drive – well – at least not a car.

Being a team owner, Stewart has more obligations than just showing up at the track and driving. He has a team to run. Not wanting to do it from the comforts of his own home, Stewart decided he needed to be at the track. Only problem? How is one going to get around? With a customized race scooter, that’s how.

Stewart debuted his new ride this morning at the Richmond International Raceway which had the garage buzzing.

It’s really nothing more than a typical high end scooter, though, it does have somewhat of a custom paint job and decals like Smoke’s stock car ride.

I guess if you’re going to do something, do it big, right?

Wonder how fast that baby goes? I’m pretty sure the one-legged Stewart has already tested it out, despite doctor’s telling him otherwise.
