Syracuse loses starting wide receiver Adrian Flemming for season

Before playing in its second game, Syracuse has already been dealt its second loss of the season.

Syracuse.com reported Friday starting wide receiver Adrian Flemming is out for the season with a lower-body injury.

Flemming recorded two receptions for 18 yards in Syracuse’s 23-17 loss to Penn State in Week 1. Those are the only two receptions the 6-foot-3, 201-pound senior has grabbed in his career.

Syracuse (0-1) visits No. 19 Northwestern (1-0) at 6 p.m. Saturday at Ryan Field. The game will be televisied on the Big Ten Network.
