Oregon run by Virginia 59-10

Lots of blowouts today in college football. I don’t follow it enough to know if that’s the norm, although I would think not. Anyway:

Sophomore quarterback Marcus Mariota ran for 122 yards and a touchdown and threw for 199 yards and two touchdowns to lead the second-ranked Ducks past Virginia 59-10 Saturday afternoon at Scott Stadium. De’Anthony Thomas added 124 yards and three rushing touchdowns for the Ducks.

Yes, I meant it when I said that they ran by Virginia. I guess you can say Oregon, blazed a trail of destruction on a field that they probably never played on before. Check this out:

Oregon (2-0) had not traveled as far east since playing Army in 1970 but showed no signs of jet lag by scoring 21 points in the first 11 minutes.

Ah, yes. They came. They saw. They conquered. Either that earlier “blaze” joke was good, Oregon cray. Get it? “Or I gone” crazy.

I am so sorry. Have a great day!
